Another customer restoration this 3.0 Ghia is being totally stripped in preparation for the acid dipping process. Everything has to be stripped from the body shell as the acid will devour everything except steel.
Once the dipping is completed then the job of replacing the corroded panels will begin. While the shell is away, as many items as possible will be powder coated and refurbished ready to fit onto the finished body shell.
I always try to use as many of the original parts as possible for the rebuild. Sometimes this isn't possible if a part is damaged or otherwise in too poor a condition to be reused.
